In the short time I have had this oven it has been used for roasting Cornish Hens, baking cheesecake, toasting bread,bagels,baking rolls, corn muffins, etc, and baking cookies. Everything has turned out beautifully. It is also easy to clean. I bought it to avoid using my large more commercial type of oven but wanted something more upscale than most toaster ovens and it fits the bill. It is the best toaster oven (has convection, too) I have ever used.

My rickety little cheap toaster oven died recently and I decided to get something smart, solid, attractive, and easy to use. I read the reviews by other amazon customers and also noted it was rated number one by Consumer Reports. I was not disappointed. In fact, I'm thrilled! This oven is like a professional piece of equipment. The designers have thought of everything to make cooking automatic and fool proof. Hit the pizza button and it makes beautiful pizza. Give it a quick wipe and it's clean. And it's so roomy inside that a 5-pound chicken would fit in easily. After I've used it a while I might find some shortcomings, but for now it's exactly what I need to completely ignore my big regular oven. Good riddance!

Could not be more pleased with our purchase of the Breville Smart Toaster Oven. It does all that it advertises. What we did in the oven, we now do in the Breville without the long heat up and cool down of a conventional oven keeping the house cooler. We have owned other brands in the past, but this is far and above all the rest. A perfect oven when you need one on hot summer days.
My highest recommendation to anyone who has an interest in adding a toaster oven to their kitchen appliances.

We purchased this on amazon and have used it for about 10 days. The construction is solid. The convection oven feature is fabulous. We can pretty much cook anything in this mini-oven and I see no need to use my regular oven unless we have company.

This is an excellent product. It is easy to see the quality of this product. The design of this oven strongly suggests that those who did it actually used toaster ovens a lot. It was bought because living alone, it was a waste of energy to be heating up my regular sized oven for the small items I was eating. Not only should it save energy, but it heats up things like left-over frozen pizza very fast. I have only had it a few months, but I have not had any problems with it. And except for larger items that I have to use in my regular oven, I am using this oven exclusively. I would strongly recommend it to anyone interested in buying a toaster oven. It is one of the best products I have bought. The only thing I would caution potential buyers about is that the owner's manual states that it is best to have about 4 inches of space around the over to avoid heat damage to things like walls, cords, etc. I don't know how true this is, but I move it out away from the wall a few inches every time I use it because it is easy to do so.

When I bought this toaster oven I was replacing one that I bought at J.C.Penney. My old oven became "unrepairable" according to the company after only 3 months. The company offered to replace it. I decided to buy a different brand. After much research online, i decided on the Breville. This oven is the BEST toaster oven I've ever owned. It is built better and cooks better. I have used this for approximately 75% of my cooking. I highly recommend this toaster oven without any reservation to anyone who needs to purchase one.

This oven is perfect in design and quality. I have also found that it cooks some foods more efficiently and a little faster than the conventional oven. We will use this often - especially going into the hot summer months - over the standard oven. You won't go wrong buying this item - and it looks great in the kitchen! I am also anxious to purchase a couple of the accessories....cutting board and pizza stone.
